Day 01: Delhi to Rishikesh - Drive to Joshimath

Day 1

Early morning departure from Delhi. Drive to Rishikesh (approximately 6-7 hours). After a brief stop at Rishikesh, continue to Joshimath (approximately 8-9 hours from Rishikesh). Check into hotel in Joshimath. Evening free to explore the town and visit nearby temples. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Joshimath to Govindghat - Trek to Ghangaria

Day 2

Early morning drive from Joshimath to Govindghat (starting point of the trek). After breakfast, begin the trek to Ghangaria (14 km, 5-6 hours). The trail passes through beautiful forests and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Ghangaria serves as the base camp for Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Overnight stay in guest house at Ghangaria.

Day 03: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers - Return to Ghangaria

Day 3

Early morning trek to Valley of Flowers (4 km, 2-3 hours). The valley is a riot of colors with hundreds of varieties of flowers including Brahma Kamal, Blue Poppy, and Himalayan Rose. Spend time exploring the valley and taking photographs. Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay. The valley gets its name from the abundance of flowers that bloom here during monsoon season.

Day 04: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib - Return to Ghangaria

Day 4

Early morning trek to Hemkund Sahib (6 km, 3-4 hours). Hemkund Sahib is a beautiful lake at 4,329 meters surrounded by seven peaks. It holds great religious significance for Sikhs as Guru Gobind Singh meditated here. Visit the Gurudwara and enjoy the serene surroundings. Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay.

Day 05: Ghangaria to Govindghat - Drive to Joshimath

Morning trek down from Ghangaria to Govindghat (14 km, 4-5 hours). The descent offers beautiful views of the valley and rivers. Upon reaching Govindghat, drive back to Joshimath. Evening free to relax and explore Joshimath. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Joshimath to Rishikesh - Drive to Delhi

Day 6

Early morning drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh (8-9 hours). Visit Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers) en route. Continue drive to Delhi (approximately 6-7 hours from Rishikesh). Arrive Delhi by evening. Trek concludes with sweet memories of the Valley of Flowers.
