Terms & Conditions for Travel Bookings

These are the general terms & conditions for Camp Booking, or Rafting Package Bookings from Glacier Tours. These terms are always included in emails. Before you book any tour, trekking, or activity package with us, we assume you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions.

For confirmation, full payment must be made seven days before Check In or Start Date.

You can also pay the money using NEFT Transfers or Bank Deposits

NEFT/ Bank Transfer/ Cheque Deposit.




General Terms and Conditions for Tour/Travel Packages


All rates mentioned are only valid for Indian nationals.


On request, a Tariff for Foreign Nationals/NRIs can be obtained.


Please carefully read and comprehend all emails. Once you have made the booking, all email conversations with us will become part of your contract.

General Hotel check-in time: 1 pm and check-out time: 11 am (for accommodations).

Reservations will be released at 6 pm if the arrival time needs to be specified.

Packages and the Applicable Tariff are subject to changes without prior notification.

The Hotel will arrange alternative accommodation if the rooms are not available at the Hotel.

The group size, weather conditions, and accessibility due to snow or rain will all affect the activities. The instructor/guide's decision is final. We have not charged an additional fee for activities. If any action is not performed, there will be no refunds.

All hotels suggested are subject to availability and prior confirmation. If we cannot find rooms at any of these hotels, we will make arrangements in parallel with similar hotels.


Additional charges for AC/Heater will apply and vary from Hotel to Hotel.


Before you leave the Hotel or car, please take good care of your belongings. The company is not responsible for any damage.


According to the Government of India directive, all Indian/Foreign Nationals must present proper proof of identification at check-in. A passport, Visa, voter ID card, and current driver's license are valid identification documents. All documents must contain a photograph.


If valid ID proof is not presented, hotels/camps or other accommodations may deny you a stay. The company is not responsible for any ID-related issues.


Many hotels offer extra mattresses for extra adults. Please let us know if you would prefer an extra bed over a mattress.


Fixed departure tours that include transportation will have sitting arrangements in BUS/Tempo on a rotation basis. The guide will do this in conjunction with our representative.


If a vehicle breaks down for technical reasons, we will do our best to get another car in place as soon as possible to fix the major issues. We will repair vehicles for minor problems that will take a short time. Please cooperate.


We are not responsible for delays or alterations to the program or expenses incurred directly or indirectly because of natural hazards, flight cancellations or accidents, breakdown or breakdown of transport, weather or sickness, closures/blockades caused by political unrest, or any other incident.


AC will only work in some hills or stopped/parked vehicles.


Vehicles are to be disposed of for transportation packages at the pre-agreed meeting point. The client may arrange their transfer to the pickup/drop point. All toll taxes, parking fees, and driver allowances are included in vehicle charges.


Drivers will not drive in No-entry areas and should not be forced or required to drive on narrow roads or roads that could cause traffic jams. Drivers typically work for 12 hours. Please inform us in advance if you need services for more than 12 hours.


Some hills' roads are unsafe for driving after sunset or listening to music. Please cooperate.


Pickup and drop-off will only be done at one location. Please mention this in an email before you book.


Rates are subject to change depending on fluctuations in diesel/petrol prices in India. We will raise the rate if prices rise more than 5 percent from when we booked, even if we confirmed rates earlier.


If the car you booked is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a comparable vehicle.


Many tourist destinations/hill stations have "NO ENTRY" signs. The entry for larger vehicles is restricted by time and location. This situation means that guests will need to find another mode of transportation.


The tourist must be able to travel on their own. Please inform us if you have any allergies (especially food) or other severe health conditions.


There is no refund for unveiled or short-term stays.

GST Taxes extra as per Government notification.

Confirmation subject to force majeure clause

If the circumstances are beyond our control (e.g., bad weather, landslide, or other natural disasters), no cancellations or refunds will be made.


The company is not responsible for any accident/injury/death/theft of a person or property during the tour.


Management reserves the right to cancel any service without a refund, provided the company accepts the total amount of advance money received from the customer. The company can modify the functionality or features of the services at any moment without notice.


As a service provider, we are not liable for any loss or damage that may result directly or indirectly from the denial of authorization for any transaction on account of the Cardholder exceeding the preset limit jointly agreed by our acquiring bank and us.


Glacier Tours disclaims all implied warranties based on laws in any other country or jurisdiction other than India. Uttaranchal is a citizen of India and will only be subject to the courts of Dehradun.


Cancellations and refund policy:

  • >90 % refund on the total amount within 30 days
  • 15% to 30% Refund of Total Amount within 15-30 Days
  • Refunds are not available for orders less than 15 days.
  • No Refund for No Shows, Road Blocks, Accidents, and Other Reasons
  • We will promptly respond to your refund request. If you don't receive a response within one business day, please contact us at the support number below. We will not be held responsible if mail or email does not reach us.

    All refund/cancellation requests must be made via email/mail in writing. A written request (email, mail) must be received before a refund can be processed.


    Modal Refund and Timeframe: Refunds are processed to your bank account and can take up to 10-15 business days. All refunds will only be made via NEFT transfer. We will not accept cash refunds.
