7-Day Expedition Itinerary

Day 0: Delhi to Kathgodam

Board the overnight Ranikhet Express train from Delhi to Kathgodam. Settle in for a comfortable overnight journey through the plains, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 1: Kathgodam to Pithoragarh

Early morning arrival at Kathgodam. Drive through scenic routes to Pithoragarh (8-9 hours). Enjoy stunning Himalayan views of Nandadevi, Trishul, and Panchuli peaks. Check into hotel and rest for the expedition ahead.

Day 2: Pithoragarh to Jauljibi to Chaukidari Camp

Drive to Jauljibi (2.5 hours), the confluence of Gori Ganga and Kali rivers. Comprehensive safety briefing and equipment orientation. Start rafting through Class 3 rapids. Camp at Chaukidari with campfire and cultural performances.

Day 3: Chaukidari Camp to Waterfall Camp

Raft through Class 2 rapids and navigate the technical 'Squeeze' at Juhlaghat. Marvel at stalactite and stalagmite formations. Camp near a beautiful waterfall for swimming and relaxation.

Day 4: Waterfall Camp to Pancheshwar

Navigate Class 2-3 rapids to reach Pancheshwar, the sacred confluence of Kali and Saryu rivers. Excellent fishing opportunities and cultural exploration. Camp with stunning mountain views.

Day 5: Pancheshwar to Sonali Gaon

Experience increasing excitement with Class 3 rapids as the river gains volume. Navigate through untouched beauty and dense forests. Camp at Sonali Gaon with discussions around the campfire.

Day 6: Sonali Gaon to Pari Gaon

Tackle Kali's biggest rapid - Chuka (Class 4+). Scout and navigate through multiple channels. Camp across from Pari Gaon with memorable campfire stories and expedition reflections.

Day 7: Pari Gaon to Boom & Return

Final day on the river with exciting rapids to Boom. Notice the transition to Terai vegetation and possible wildlife sightings. Drive to Kathgodam and board overnight train to Delhi, concluding this epic expedition.
